Located in Deptford, the shop buys and sells musical instruments, studio gear, vintage electronics, hi-fi, records and cameras—and stocks everything ranging from basic Casiotones to top-of-the-range Moog synthesisers.
Founders Kane Dobrin and Josh Harvy have previously sold equipment and records at Portobello and Brick Lane markets. The new shop acts as a permanent fixture so they can continue to sell music items throughout the week.
“It’s always been about matching people’s ideas with the tools to create them,” they said. “Rather than buying something off a screen or from behind plexiglass, you can try a bunch of stuff and have a chat before choosing one that maybe wouldn’t have been your first choice.”
